my Services

My Goal is to maximise your chances of success

If you’re planning a new life in New Zealand, you need someone who’s not only knowledgeable but also committed to your success.  Immigration can be complex and stressful, but you don’t have to face it alone.  I’m here to guide you, support you, and give you the best possible chance of achieving your immigration goals.

About My Services

As a New Zealand licensed immigration adviser, I began my practice in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic — a time when visa approvals were particularly challenging, and every application had to be proven beyond satisfactory. That volatile period taught me to be both strategic and meticulous. It sharpened my ability to identify the best visa pathways, navigate shifting immigration policies, and deliver strong, well-supported applications.

Strategic and Informed Advice

I don’t rely solely on what’s written in the policy manuals. I actively seek insights from within the Licensed Immigration Adviser and immigration lawyer community, and where necessary, verify those insights with Immigration New Zealand (INZ) technical advisers. This proactive approach means I’m always up to date with the latest developments, interpretations, and practical considerations of immigration policy.

Attention to Detail

I believe in preparing each application with the same care I would give my own. I don’t simply upload whatever documents are given to me. Instead, I take the time to validate the documents, consider how INZ will assess them, and ensure that the strongest possible case is presented from the start. This has led to hundreds of visa approvals, impacting thousands of migrants from around the world.

Global Experience, Local Expertise

I’ve supported clients from a wide range of countries including South Africa, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, the UK, the USA, India, Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Fiji, Japan, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Samoa, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Switzerland, the Slovak Republic — and, of course, my home country, Hong Kong. Each experience has added to my knowledge of how different systems, cultural norms, and document types are perceived by INZ — and how to recognise what’s considered strong or risky.

Restoring Trust in the Profession

It’s unfortunate that the immigration industry sometimes makes headlines for the wrong reasons. A few bad actors have led to negative perceptions of immigration advisers. But that’s not what I stand for. I work long hours — sometimes late into the night — not because I have to, but because I genuinely care about helping people. I believe migrants should be respected for the courage and determination it takes to seek a better life. My greatest reward is seeing the joy in a client’s face when their visa is approved.

More Than Forms and Documents

Immigration is not just about filling out forms. It’s about:

  • Understanding your visa options — from temporary to residence pathways

  • Creating a strategy that fits your unique circumstances and long-term goals

  • Supporting your family — including bringing your partner or children with you

  • Managing risk — such as gaps in documentation or character/medical issues

  • Advocating for you — presenting your story clearly and persuasively to INZ

  • Taking the stress off your shoulders — including follow-ups and communication with INZ
